Step-by-step cleaning instructions:

- Mix a mild detergent with cold water in a bucket.
- Dip a sponge or cloth into the solution and wring it out until it is damp.
- Wipe the rug with the damp sponge or cloth, working in sections.
- Rinse the sponge or cloth in clean water and wring it out again.
- Blot the rug dry with a clean towel.
- Allow the rug to air-dry completely.
